Personal Demons: An Alexandra Trese and Detective Andara Deviation Story is the last story of Trese: Bloodlines Volume 1. This is the second crossover under the Trese Deviations banner. It had Trese crossover with their old story, "Payaso".

Brandie Tan, Budjette Tan, and Mark Gatela all worked on the comic book story Payaso, which influenced the creation of Trese.
In December 2020, the story was published in Trese: Bloodlines Volume 1. It was a reworked story from Payaso, featuring main character Detective Michael Andara. Characters from Trese was integrated to its lore like Captain Guerrero, Alexandra Trese, and the original Kambal.

When former police detective Crisostomo Andara III received an urgent note from his former commander, he was less than enthused over the prospect of working with the organization which turned his back on him. "It's happening again", the note said. Andara immediately knew what it meant: the one case that got away from him - the serial killer who crippled his grandfather and murdered his father is back causing mayhem. Despite his former commander's assurance that he wants the case closed and the promise of the department's resources at his disposal. he had his doubts. Chasing this killer all his life brought him nothing but pain and a more than fair amount of misery. He has tried every trick in his arsenal to bring this killer to justice.
